With Yoga Physical Therapy you can learn to move from the
inside out. You can learn to use your breath to relax your body. You can learn to use your breath to support stretching and strengthening exercises.
Using the breath in this way, with intention and mindfulness, exponentially increases the effectiveness of
positions and exercises. It allows you to go deeply into the muscles and
the source of pain, thereby relieving pain and tightness.
Sharon is an expert in evaluating the source of your pain or injury.
Then, she helps you to find the appropriate exercises to heal. She
works carefully to assist you in discovering the precision of each
targeted exercise. When you work this way, the muscles and body respond
profoundly. Your body begins to heal and rebalance itself with these
targeted exercises combined with conscious breathing.
Sharon also uses
soft tissue techniques, including Myofascial Release, Strain-Counterstrain and joint mobilizations to help you to heal.
